AFTERGLOW · SITE INFORMATION

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 27 October 2026. This starter policy must be reviewed and adapted to the tools and laws that apply to your actual website.

1. Who operates this site

Afterglow is a provisional project name. Before launch, identify the actual operator and provide a working contact email in this policy and on the Contact page.

2. Information you provide

If you contact us, we may receive the name, email address and message that you choose to send. Do not include passwords, payment credentials or unnecessary sensitive information in a message.

3. Basic technical information

Like most websites, the hosting provider may process technical information needed to deliver pages and protect the service, such as IP address, request time, browser details and error logs. The exact fields and retention periods depend on your hosting configuration. Check Cloudflare’s current documentation and your account settings before publishing a definitive description.

4. Cookies and local storage

This starter site uses session storage to remember that an adult visitor has passed the on-page age notice for the current browser session. It does not by itself verify age. If you add analytics, login features, embeds or advertising tags, those tools may set cookies or process identifiers. Update this policy to describe every tool actually used and implement any legally required consent controls before those tools run.

5. Advertising partners

If ExoClick or another advertising provider is added, that provider may process technical data and use cookies or similar technologies under its own terms and privacy policy. Only insert official code supplied for your approved account, and review the provider’s current publisher guidance, data-processing terms and regional consent requirements. Do not claim that no third-party data processing occurs after adding an ad tag.

6. Legal basis and choices

Depending on your location and the processing, applicable data protection law may require notice, consent, access, correction, deletion, objection or other rights. The correct legal basis and response process depend on your real operation and audience. Add a method for visitors to exercise rights where required.

7. Retention and security

Retain messages only as long as needed to answer the request, maintain records or meet legal obligations. Use strong account security, limit access to messages, keep software up to date, and do not collect information you do not need.

8. Children

This site is intended for adults aged 18 and older. Do not knowingly collect information from minors. An on-page age notice is not a substitute for a legally required age-assurance system.

9. Changes and contact

We may update this policy when the site or its tools change. For privacy questions, use the working email listed on the Contact page.

Configuration required: list the real data controller, hosting setup, ad/analytics tools, retention periods, legal basis, and rights contact before going live. This template is not legal advice.
